Multimedia Editing
When I was an editor at the Daily Bruin, one of my roles was to collaborate with the paper’s art sections to shoot photos, create illustrations and film videos to accompany our explanatory journalism articles. This was a unique opportunity to practice key interpersonal skills, such as managing team members and production timelines. Multimedia journalism became a part of my larger digital marketing strategy to drive audience engagement through compelling and editorially valuable visuals while repurposing content for social media.
Below are a few of my favorite art requests I curated for our articles. Artists are tagged in the second line and stories are linked for review!
